Wilder Center

The Amherst H. Wilder Foundation is a nonprofit health and human services organization that has served the greater Saint Paul, Minnesota area since 1906. They operate dozens of programs that help children succeed in school, older adults remain independent, troubled youth create healthy futures and individuals and families maintain long-term housing. Wilder Center features a vibrant and welcoming community campus focused on accessibility, sustainability, and community engagement. The vision for the new campus emerged as the result of intensive planning and analysis of Wilder services and the community’s changing needs. With innovative strategies for sustainability, including water savings, energy efficiency and improved indoor environmental quality, Wilder Center achieved LEED Gold certification.
