MN Zoo Tiger Lair Exhibit

The twenty year old Tiger Lair Exhibit at the Minnesota Zoo needed guest safety and animal containment improvements and what it got was a ferocious facelift. One improvement included upgrading the themed rockwork containment that was built in the 70’s with new techniques. Another improvement was the added shade and weather canopy at the moat viewing area for guest viewers was designed with round timber wood members and gives a unique, natural looking structure. And for the tigers, a new 18 foot water fall where they can play, relax and cool down. Created improved guest safety, viewing and and ADA accessibility.
