West Superior Street Duluth

Damon Farber, working with a multi-disciplinary design and engineering team and the City of Duluth, is leading streetscape design for 1.65 miles of West Superior Street in Duluth’s Lincoln Park Neighborhood. West Superior Street runs through the heart of Lincoln Parks’ trendy Craft District. The project has received $25M in federal funding, matched with another $10M in City funding with the goal of creating a complete street served by bus rapid transit, off-street bicycle lanes, new sidewalks and amenity zones, green infrastructure, wayfinding, public art and site furnishings. Design and reconstruction will transform West Superior Street into an Active Transportation Corridor, prioritizing accessibility, transit amenities, and safety for pedestrians and bicyclists.
