Lac Qui Parle County Park

Lac qui Parle County Park is a 226-acre naturally beautiful landscape that straddles the Lac qui Parle river. The existing park is largely undeveloped and is used by the local saddle club, boy scouts, girl scouts, track and field, school scientific studies classes, saddle clubs, 4 H clubs as well as campers and nature enthusiasts. The project scope included master planning services for public engagement, site analysis, concept alternative development, wayfinding, and trail/facilities standards. The proposed master plan will enhance the park through 10 miles of new ADA compliant trails, ecological improvements, trailhead facilities, and create connections across the river that will bridge the two halves of the park.
