The Donald & Patricia Schneider Family Hall will serve as the new home of the Donald J. Schneider School of Business and Economics and a hub for business education in northeast Wisconsin, with a terrace along the Fox River and reimagined classrooms and workspaces. The strategic location of the new facility, adjacent to the Claude Allouez bridge, provides high visibility and easy access for the thousands of people who utilize the bridge daily. The multi-use facility will cater to the evolving needs of contemporary learning and will feature classrooms, collaborative workspaces, and conference facilities. The design of the site incorporates a riverside terrace, creating an inviting space for students, staff, and community members to engage with the natural beauty of the river. This thoughtful integration of the landscape promotes a connection to nature, enhancing the overall learning experience. Additionally, a new open event lawn will serve as a versatile gathering area for various community activities such as markets, campus events, and passive outdoor recreation.
