Granite Falls Memorial Park

Nestled along the Minnesota River near Granite Falls, Minnesota is the 105-acre Granite
Falls Memorial Park. In a master plan developed to enhance the currently underutilized
space, the reinvisioned Memorial Park embraces its rich natural and cultural context
while expanding recreational and educational opportunities on the site. The new plan
protects and interprets rare geological features, intact native prairie, and endangered
species habitats while also honoring a rich cultural history and WWII memorial. Improved
programming and accessibility add trail networks, camping opportunities & amenities,
and day/ event-use facilities.
