Grams Regional Park

Sherburne county’s five-year park development plan calls for developing two regional parks with recreational opportunities — the first being Grams Regional Park, east of Zimmerman, near Fremont Lake, and the second being Island View Regional Park, in Clear Lake Township. Longer-term goals include connecting the community and neighborhoods through partnerships with Livonia Township, the city of Zimmerman and the Elk River Area School District.The next step following the Feb. 18 meeting will be to assess the scope of the first phase of the project and then to secure cost estimates, followed by preparations of plans and specifications.
