Bridgeview Regional Park

The new trail facilities at Bridgeview Park were a collaborative effort between Damon Farber and Sherburne County. This 30-acre park features native prairie, dry oak forest, and oak savanna ecosystems along with scenic views of the Mississippi River through floodplain forest. Damon Farber led the design and final construction documents for trailhead gathering spaces, signage, river overlooks, and boardwalk. The entry road and parking lot were a cooperative effort during conceptual design, with the county leveraging in-house engineering capacity for final construction documents. This project showcases how a client and consultant can leverage each other’s strengths to expand park amenities while minimizing capital expenditures.
